Santry Avenue

Dublin

Formerly the site of a large bonded warehouse, this proposal presents and new urban façade to the busy main road, providing a streetscape facing back to the existing shops on the opposite side.

The scheme is conceived as three linear blocks of accommodation, orientated north-south to ensure maximum sunlight and daylight penetration to the living spaces, over basement parking. Courtyard spaces are landscaped and South facing while being protected from the prevailing wind. Blocks are clad predominantly in red brick with natural grey render relief; balconies are generous and supplemented with common planted roof terraces that look back over the city.

Development of 200 apartments over street front retail, with ground floor crèche and resident/community spaces facing into internal courtyards.
